- Follow Up
- Record linkage with the National Death Index and Regional Mortality registers and the MONICA Catalonia coronary event Register were systematically conducted. In addition, members of Cohort 01 were re-contacted for interview and re-examination ten years after the baseline survey and members of Cohort 02 were contacted directly by telephone to answer the follow-up questionnaire, eight years after the baseline survey. Vital status of the non-responders was checked with the mortality register.
- Supplementary Information
- Deaths and cardiovascular events are followed up for the harmonized MORGAM data, see detailed information on follow-up procedures in the MORGAM e-publication.
